PROJECT INTRODUCTION Orienteering is a sport that is played against time and involves navigating with the help of maps and compass. With this project interest in Score Orienteering and Park Orienteering will be aroused. Everyone from 7 to 77 will be allowed to do the orienteering sport. ‘Orienteering For Everyone’ will begin as an eTwinning Project and will be carried out to Erasmus + KA229 and KA101 Staff Mobility Projects. International mobility will be carried out with our partners and competitions will be held. Bringing young people together, forming new friendships, ability to work and compete will be improved. Students will be away from virtual reality and digital addiction and they will know nature and they will learn how to use compass and map reading. With the help of orienteering sport students will gain abilities such as running fast and thinking quickly. They will also learn the meanings of map symbols and reading compass. Furthermore, when they are alone with nature they will learn how to use their knowledge of map GENERAL OBJECTIVE: To teach knowledge and skills related to orienteering. To teach finding directions with map and compass and finding any target in the terrain. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT: To make people comprehend the importance of orienteering and to arouse interest in this sport To have knowledge about the field and materials of orienteering sport To understand the competition rules of orienteering and to behave in accordance with these rules To teach the basic techniques of orienteering and to ensure their implementation To express oneself verbally and physically with acquired movement skills To gain the habit of commenting on the competitions and sports events watched or participated To lead in sportive events, to follow the leader and to be a good follower To recognize your talents and strengths To maximize capacity through physical activities To understand the form of spiritual movement and to create new movements. To recognize the strong and weak aspects and to know its limitations ,to reflect of sports ethics. To protect from harmful habits and development of sense of responsibility. To do orienteering with everyone from seven to seventy seven. To adaptate to the curriculum for all schools within our national education policy and to teach as a lesson. To create orienteering maps,to learn reading maps and to use map knowledge when they are alone with nature. To integrate young people,to make new friendships, to develop competition ability and transnational cooperation. The Objective Skills of Orientiring Course Teaching Program for Students 1-Map reading 2-Research 3-Coordination 4-Basic Motorical Skills 5-Acquisition of sports culture 6-Planned work 7-Creative Thinking 8-Analytical thinking 9-Speaking Turkish correctly and effectively 10-Using information and communication technologies. 11-Communication Expected Results 1-Learns the definition and history of orienteering. 2-Learns the benefits of orienteering 3-Learns the types and forms of orienteering. 4-Learns how teams are formed and scoring. 5-Learns orienteering competition rules. 6-Learns control cards and marking tools. 7-Learns the materials used in orienteering sports. 8-Learns map edge information and to draw detailed maps. 9-Learns the orienteering practice in the field. 10-Learns control definitions. 11-Learns symbols. 12-Learns concepts and terms related to orienteering. 13-Learns about land faults and cross section. 14-Learns doing orienteering races accordance with the rules. 15-With this project a new area of interest can be created in the national sense .Young people can be freed from digital addiction.Nature sports can be supported.By competing with transnational sports,socialization and friendship develop.Intercultural interaction is provided.
